In part of the Faculty of Applied Health Science's 50th anniversary, the faculty is hosting an outdoor movie, taking place in the Village 1 Green on July 25 form 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The movie featured will be " Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

My 80s hair and I were soon swept up in the excitement and energy of the campus – not only the academics but also student life, including a role helping to plan the (then much smaller) Canada Day celebrations for the Federation of Students.

Over his 48-year career as a student and professor at the University of Waterloo, Rick Haldenby has observed and, many times, been directly involved in the design of buildings on and off campus. In this all new talk he will weave stories of buildings into a narrative that visits both high and not-so-high points in the development of the built fabric of a great institution.
