While discussing improving the availability of sign-out equipment at IST Service Desks, someone suggested using Googles open source chromebook signout tool to handle this
- Explained the reasoning from security for using DUO instead of Google Authenticator (And will share further reading with group)
- Shared the news of upcoming switch to virtual printers
- Showed the new Help & Support Page, and the migration of Wi-Fi guides to the knowledge base
- Talked about the problems with Remote Desktop and narrowed it down to a VPN problem
- More detail was provided on E7 Wi-Fi problems
- During classes, on the 4th floor (little over 100 people with 2 APs)
- It was also mentioned that SLC great hall wi-fi is bad when there is ~200 people there.
