- Swag (stickers, etc.)
- Quick Video updates: Where is the helpdesk? How do I install Office 365?
- Use Google Trends / Reddit posts to pick topics for videos, promo campaigns
2. Where can IST improve?
- Quest update: Mobile buttons don’t scale properly on desktop)
- Why does uPrint need VPN access to use?
- Allow vpn to route all traffic
- Learn should be easier to use
- Waterloo Works is not intuitive (should be summary view …applied, shortlisted, viewed, rejected)
- IT Advisory Board needs more awareness across campus
- Wi-Fi mobility (disconnected when walking between buildings)
- Downtime of servers / networks outside of business hours
- DC WiFi is really slow and barely works
- Better structure in leads – it is difficult to navigate, old jobs still show as available even if they are closed
- Would be great to have recorded lectures availiable to view on Learn
3. What things are IST doing well?
- Wi-Fi network generally works
- Printing in library – printers are quick
- We appreciate Lynda.com (around half our group had used it )
- Portal hackathon is a great idea
