David Lin, MAcc, CPA, CA, TEP is an Assistant Professor – Teaching Stream at the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance. He is also a tutor and facilitator in the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program and writes for the Canadian Tax Foundation. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo, he worked as a Senior Manager in public practice where he advised private high net worth clients on individual and corporate taxation, accounting for income taxes, corporate reorganizations, as well as complex trust taxation and estate planning.
