The Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) is hosting a Women Empowering Women event. This is will include; learning about the issues facing women in developing countries, learning about MEDA's projects that empower women, and engage with their various projects around the world. The event is free and there is food available, they ask that you do please register and give a small donation at the event. By organizing over 100 debates across Canada, this project is designed to make the environment an issue that political parties can no longer ignore. The debates will create a forum where voters can hear directly from candidates about their visions for the environment.

Unflinching and first-hand accounts of the lasting legacy of the residential school system and pathways for reconciliation. The evening will begin with a screening of the short film The Mush Hole with R.G. Miller, followed by the feature length documentary The Mush Hole: A Shared History. Following the films, Vivian Timmins will lead a panel discussion and Q&A.

St. Paul's college is hosting their 16th Annual Pow Wow. A Pow Wow is a coming together of the first peoples to celebrate and honour traditional teachings. Everyone is invited to join in and enjoy traditional drum groups, dancers, craft vendors, and exhibits!
