Welcome to the website for the Motion Research Group in the Department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo directed by Professor John McPhee. We specialize in dynamic simulation, model-based control, and design optimization of mechanical, mechatronic, and biomechatronic multibody systems.

    Alongside Professor John McPhee, MoRG alumnus Drs. Naser Mehrabi and Mohammad Shourijeh recently served as Topic Editors for the Special Issue "Advances in Musculoskeletal Modeling and their Application to Neurorehabilitation" in Frontiers in Neurorobotics.
