Chuan Hu

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Motion Research Group (MoRG), Department of Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo. My current research interests include vehicle state and parameter estimations; motion control and estimation of autonomous vehicles; vehicle dynamics modeling and control.

I receive my Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada in June 2017 (Supervisor: Dr. Fengjun Yan), M.E. degree in Vehicle Operation Engineering from China Academy of Railway Sciences, Beijing, China in 2013, and B.E. degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2010.
