MASc Student in Systems Design Engineering
I graduated with a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering – Control Systems in 2016. I am currently a master's student in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Under the supervision of Professor John McPhee and Professor Jennifer Boger, the emphasis of my research is on rehabilitation using the stroke rehabilitation robot and to control it in such a way that can improve the upper-limb movements of people having a stroke. We are also interested in using computer-based games and virtual reality headsets to enhance patients’ motivation while they are having rehabilitation and to engage them more with the practices. The following are my research interests:
•
Rehabilitation
Robotics
•
Mechatronics
and
Control
Systems
•
Machine
Learning
and
Artificial
Intelligence
•
Analog
Integrated
Circuits
No one can ignore the vital role of science and technology in human life improvement. By using my knowledge in electrical and control systems, I am here to be part of this improvement process to facilitate people’s lives. In my leisure time, I like to go mountain climbing, caving, and swimming.
