SoAR 2018 Recap

Congratulations to all presenters at the third annual Symposium on Aging Research (SoAR), which took place on April 25, 2018. A variety of aging-focused research topics were covered, and conference delegates enjoyed many interesting conversations and opportunities for collaboration. The keynote address by Dick Moore, founder of the Senior PRIDE Network, was particularly thought-provoking!

For the first time, SoAR was hosted in the AHS Extension foyer and auditorium (AHS 1689), a beautiful bright venue despite the rainy day outside. Highlights from the day include:

  • 100+ attendees
  • 38 research presentations
  • 20 community members in attendance
  • Representatives from across all UW faculties and Laurier!
