Come back to campus for the new Alumni Weekend
On June 1, catch up with old friends and rediscover your Waterloo spirit.
Mark your calendars — Alumni Weekend is almost here! On Saturday, June 1, break out your school jacket and your favourite mementos, and join your fellow Waterloo grads for events that celebrate our proud alumni.
Here are just some of the activities you can enjoy.
Join alumni from across campus as we reunite, play games, enjoy snacks and take student-led tours of the new Hagey Hub. Then head over to the Grad House for some refreshments and test your trivia skills with a game of Kahoot.
Reignite your love of learning with talks by leaders in the Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics and Environment. See the legendary Professor Larry Smith (MA '75) deliver one of his famous addresses; discover the challenges and opportunities of quantum computing with Professor Michele Mosca (BMath ’95); or celebrate Environment’s 50th anniversary as Dean Jean Andrey (PhD ’89) explores what the next 50 years may hold.
Enjoy a delicious buffet luncheon in celebration of your 25th, 50th or 55th anniversary. Reconnect with your classmates and friends at this very special milestone event. Alumni from all faculties and colleges are invited to attend.
Explore the full range of Alumni Weekend activities, including faculty tours, workshops and family-friendly barbecues. Register today and get ready to make some new Waterloo memories. We can’t wait to welcome you back to campus!
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
