Grand River Hospital and the University of Waterloo will announce their new partnership agreement to enhance health services research in the Waterloo Region
By Media RelationsThe research partnership builds upon existing research involving the two institutions. Studies to date have included stroke, cancer treatment, traumatic brain injury, and nutrition and aging.
Members of the media are invited to attend the launch event Friday to learn more about this collaboration, which enables this world-class community hospital research to take place locally. Some of the UWaterloo researchers and clinicians involved in this partnership will be available to discuss their work.

By arrangement, an additional photo opportunity is available of the MRI equipment that Professor James Danckert uses in some of his research.
