One of the leading anti-sexist, male activists in the U.S. will deliver a free public lecture at the University of Waterloo tomorrow on the topic of gender violence.

The Equity Office at Waterloo is hosting Jackson Katz, educator, author, filmmaker and cultural theorist renowned for his pioneering work on gender violence prevention.

Katz is the co-founder of the Mentors In Violence Prevention (MVP) program, the leading gender violence prevention initiative in professional and college sport. He is the director of the first worldwide domestic and sexual violence prevention program in the United States Marine Corps.
