Shaieree is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo and the coordinator for the Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum. Shaieree's research is on climate change adaptation and Canadian policies related to disaster recovery, managed retreat and resilience building against hazards.
