On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the Religious Studies department held a student event. 
An opportunity for students and professors connected to the program to get to know each other. More than twenty people came out for pizza and great conversation!

Dr. David Seljak delivered the opening lecture at the "Land, Law, Religion, and Reconciliation" colloquium hosted by university of Victoria, Centre for Studies in Religion and Society.

We are very proud and pleased to announce that Dr. Doris Jakobsh received a lifetime achievement award from Sikh Studies, in honour of her contributions.

This book brings a broad, holistic approach to the study of the phenomena of the global Sikh community referred to collectively as the Panth.
