Winter is here, and we want to celebrate the start of the season with you and the City of Waterloo! Join your peer leaders for a walk to Waterloo Park to experience the Wonders of Winter Lights, horse and carriage rides, hot drinks, and great times!

What can you expect?

• Walk from Renison or take the ION to Waterloo Park
• Take photos with friends and see interesting light displays at the park
• Enjoy horse and carriage rides around the park and purchase warm drinks to make the experience even more magical!

Meet in the Atrium to walk to Waterloo Park

All November long, if you bring a non-perishable food item or donation for WUSA Food Support Services to any Renison event, you will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 3 Mel’s Diner Gift Cards!

The holidays are right around the corner! Join your peer leaders to get our Atrium tree decorated and ready for festivities!

What can you expect?

• Ornaments for you to personalize and decorate
• Holiday songs and talking about holiday traditions while you work
• Enjoy some festive treats and friendship as you get creative!

Join our Chaplain, Rev. Scott McLeod, for a worship service in the Anglican Tradition. Everyone is welcome!

What can you expect?

• Participate in the Eucharist, also known as the Lord's Supper or Communion.
• A full Anglican service and a chance to develop a sense of community.

Join Peer Leader Rubee and Chaplain Scott for an interactive workshop series to help you feel grounded each week. With a focus on gratitude, you will complete a series of workshops that introduce mindfulness practices and techniques.

What can you expect?

• Mini-lecture on each week's mindfulness practice content
• Interactive activities that allow you to practice gratitude and mindfulness in a comfortable and guided space
• A sense of community and gratitude at the end of each session

Link Inclusion Lounge

Bring your love of music to the DFL to jam with other Renison residents!

What can you expect?

• Singing, guitars, drums, pianos – any instrument you have available!
• Casual drop-in to play some songs and make new friends

• Good vibes, laughs, and some holiday cheer on your floor!
• A friendly competition with your residence friends!

Play a fun game of BINGO with your peer leaders and friends!

What can you expect?

• Everyone receives a BINGO card and markers.
• Listen as your peer leaders call out numbers and mark the ones you have on your card
• Whoever gets a “BINGO” first wins a Renison prize pack!
