As a Peer Helper, you will attend some classes each week alongside students studying in our General English at Renison (GEAR) program. GEAR is a four-week program that helps students improve their English while experiencing Waterloo's unique innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
We are looking for volunteers who would be available for one or both of the following program dates:
- January 16-February 10
- February 21-March 17
If you so choose, you also have the option of joining our students for fun events outside of class-time, giving you even more chances to build your cross-cultural skills. All volunteers who complete their commitment with Renison ELI will receive a letter of recognition for their volunteer service - great for your resume!
