Exchange scholarships

These are awarded to undergraduate engineering students who participate in one of the faculty's exchange programs. Recipients must be on the Dean's honour list or have other high academic standing prior to the exchange and before receiving the Award. The value of each scholarship is $800, and up to four may be given in any one year.

These scholarships are awarded annually.  Completed  application form (doc) must be submitted by September 15 to the Faculty of Engineering Exchange Office (eng.ug.exchange.askus@uwaterloo.ca).

Dr. F. Hecker exchange scholarships

The Dr. F. Hecker exchange scholarship is an annual award given by the Sandford Fleming Foundation to an outstanding undergraduate engineering student at the University of Waterloo who is participating in one of the faculty's student exchange programs in the European theatre. It honours the contributions of Dr. Hecker of Technische Universitat Braunschweig, who distinguished himself by his dedication to the exchange program, and in the particular care he took of Waterloo participants. The value of the award is $1000.

The  application form (doc) must be submitted to the Administrative Coordinator of the Faculty of Engineering Exchange Programs via email by September 15.
