I completed my PhD in the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Chris Godsil.  My thesis investigates quantum walks and pretty good state transfer, in particular on paths.

I completed my Master's degree at the University of Victoria under the supervision of Peter Dukes.  My thesis considered the asymptotic existence of incomplete mutually orthogonal Latin squares.

I completed my undergraduate studies at St. Francis Xavier University in my hometown of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, under the supervision of Stephen Finbow.  My honours thesis considered vertex colouring problems with restrictions given by faces.  An updated version of my thesis can be found here.

My research interests are quantum walks, graph colouring, random graphs, graph searching, and combinatorial designs.
