Between May 2018 and April 2019, I was the Speaker of the Council of the Graduate Student Association. Prior to this, I was the representative on Council for the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization from October 2016 to April 2018. I have represented graduate students on both the Graduate Student Relations Committee and the Graduate Student Support Advisory Committee and been a member of several Council committees.
During my studies at the University of Waterloo, I have volunteered as a contest marker for CEMC, as an Assistant Marshall at the University of Waterloo Convocation, as tech support during the Candian Mathematical Society Winter Meeting to ensure the audio-video equipment was running smoothly, as a troubleshooter during the LaTeX Writing Workshop, and during a live chat to answer questions from incoming graduate students.
At the University of Victoria, I was Member at Large for Component 1 of CUPE 4163, the UVic Educational Employees' Union, and was a member of the bargaining committee. I also worked as a volunteer at Math Mania.
At St. Francis Xavier University, I volunteered with the Nova Scotia Math League to run competitions for high school students.
