PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Enthusiastic students with a strong academic background are welcome to apply to my research group at the Masters, PhD, and Undergraduate level. If you are interested in the development of numerical methods for partial differential equations and one of my current research areas is of interest, or you have a project in mind that would fit within the general theme of my research, I encourage you to contact me.

Applicants for a Masters or PhD in Applied Mathematics can find more information at graduate student application information of the Applied Mathematics Department. I also accept Masters students in Waterloo's Computational Mathematics Masters program. If you are interested in any of these programs feel free to contact me, in particular domestic students who wish to pursue NSERC or OGS scholarships are encouraged to contact me early on to give sufficient time to prepare those applications.

Undergraduate students interested in pursuing a 4 month research project are encouraged to examine Applied Mathematics Department's information on undergraduate research positions. Postdocs with funding are also encouraged to reach out to discuss potential areas of collaboration.
