Welcome future Master's students!
Thank you for your interest in Master's studies in Computational Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Computational Mathematics (CM) is an interdisciplinary field of study that combines and unifies fundamental techniques from mathematics, statistics, and computer science to solve real-world problems that require quantitative modelling and high-end computing. Our graduates find among the most interesting and rewarding high-end technology jobs in banks, tech companies, industry and government (both for co-op and post-graduation).
Our Master's program is an intensive, 12-month, funded, research-based program, with the option to complete one or two additional four-month paid co-op work terms in high-end Canadian or international companies.
