Computational Mathematics is offered as both an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics (BMATH) plan and a minor plan. Prospective students do not apply directly to these plans, but rather apply for entry into Mathematics and then declare the Computational Mathematics major or minor at the end of their first year or later.
Admission requirements for students applying to Mathematics for their first year are outlined on the Faculty's Admission Requirements webpage.
Students interested in declaring Computational Mathematics as their major do so at the end of or after their first year. A Plan Modification form is completed and submitted to the Computational Mathematics Academic Advisor. To be eligible, they must have a Cumulative Average (CAV) and Major Average (MAV) of 60%.
