In their first year as an undergraduate student within the Faculty of Mathematics, all students take a common selection of math courses (commonly referred to as “core courses”). These include courses in Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, and Computer Science, together with electives for those students interested in Computational Mathematics.
A wide variety of courses are available to upper-year students enrolled in Computational Mathematics, ranging from Applied Cryptography to Computational Modeling of Cellular Systems. The Undergraduate Schedule of Classes provides a list of courses being offered per term for undergraduate students.
Students in the Computational Mathematics plans must fulfil certain course requirements in order to obtain their degree. Please visit the Undergraduate Studies Academic Calendar to view the degree requirements for students in the Computational Mathematics major as well as the Computational Mathematics minor.
