Herry is currently pursuing a BASc in Architectural Engineering with specializations in Building Systems and Building Structures at the University of Waterloo. Having completed previous co-op terms in both architecture and engineering firms, he aims to now further his learning through his current position as an engineering research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Lacroix and Dr. Kunho Eugene Kim.

Herry is currently assisting on multiple projects investigating the use of Fibre Reinforced Polymers (FRP) and Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) to reinforce timber members.
