My goal is to enable a world that moves in harmony with human needs and the environment. The traditional approach to aircraft design and broader air operations planning is failing, spanning years if not decades to bring new capabilities online and outliving the original requirements. We must find ways to build faster while preserving safety and accommodating uncertain and dynamic market conditions. My work thus focuses on enabling novel aircraft design and operational concepts using 'system of systems' approaches—i.e. grounded in holistic and coupled analysis of people, products, and processes at various scales.
