Current Position

I am a PhD student in the Operations Research and Financial Engineering department at Princeton University.

Biography

I did a brief stint as a medical student at Universidad Cayetano Heredia between 2014-2015, before moving to Waterloo in 2016. I obtained my BMath in Mathematical Finance, with minors in Pure Mathematics and Statistics, in 2020. In 2021, I completed my MMath in Statistics at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, under the supervision of Alexander Schied. My thesis explored pathwise aspects of rough integrators, as well as deep learning methods to learn roughness.

Research Interests

I am interested in applications of stochastic analysis to mathematical finance. Prior to my arrival at Waterloo, my research focus was on the epidemiology of noncommunicable diseases.
