Kevin is a chemist and toxicologist interested in the fate and transport of contaminants and the risks they pose to environmental and human health. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Groundwater Geochemistry & Remediation Research Group led by David Blowes and Carol Ptacek in the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. His research is focused on developing metal stable isotope techniques to trace environmental contamination and assess the effectiveness of remediation strategies at Giant Mine in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
