My current research interests are in the areas of intelligent systems design, information sensor fusion, augmented intelligence, machine learning, and context-aware machines. The work is applied to solve a wide range of real-world problems in the areas of intelligent transportation systems, the Internet of things, virtual care, cognitive robotics and natural man-machine interaction. The research work is disseminated in journals, conference proceedings, and textbooks. I co-authored two dozens US Patents.
