Moving from Dubai, a highly technically advanced city, to a small town called Surathkal in India for my undergraduate education has helped me understand the need and important of innovation and adaptability.

My volunteer work with the Council for Responsible Innovation and Technology (CRIT) at the University of Waterloo and the Design Innovation Center at NITK has also bolstered my understanding of responsible innovation.

My work experience in 3 separate countries has also provided me with the skills necessary to adapt to different situations.

My experiences of working on my research during the global COVID-19 pandemic and bringing my research back on schedule has also highlighted my ability to adapt to less-than-ideal situations.
