Xiaoyou Zhang received her Honours BASc degree with distinction in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2019. She is currently a MASc student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Power and Energy Systems. Her research mainly focuses on the protection of converter-based resources such as wind farms.
