Research Interests

My research primarily addresses critical challenges in electric power systems. I focus on three core areas: 1) Modeling, 2) Protection, and 3) Control of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems and converter-interfaced renewable energy sources.
In addition to these, I am also involved in projects related to electric vehicles. Overall, my work centers on advancing power system analysis and improving the reliability and efficiency of modern electric grids. Here is a list of my research interests:

  • High voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines
  • Electric vehicles
  • Multi-terminal direct current (MTDC) grids
  • DC grid protection systems
  • AC and DC system interaction analysis
  • AC-DC systems control
  • Power system stability
  • Renewable energy sources
