Personal Information
Abimbola was born and raised in Nigeria. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 2010 and Master’s degree in Transport Planning and Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2013. She started her career as a Quantity Surveyor working mainly in building construction in Nigeria. There, she obtained experience in Building construction management and a little of transportation construction which sparked an interest in transportation and the desire to pursue a Masters and Ph.D in the field.
Abimbola is currently undertaking her Ph.D program under the supervision of Professor Susan Tighe.
Abimbola is interested in sustainable transportation construction and management, transportation accessibility and city prosperity/competitiveness. She enjoys music, meeting people, watching movies and learning.
