SWIGS is a dynamic group of University of Waterloo graduate students, supported by the Water Institute, looking to expand their networks and develop new skills in the water sector. SWIGS events are geared toward fostering collaboration within the Waterloo community through relaxed networking, educational opportunities, and mentorship events in a comfortable environment.
Membership is open to all University of Waterloo graduate students with an interest in water-related issues.

Water and You Art Contest 2022
We are excited to announce the return of our annual Water and You art contest, hosted entirely online, starting on Friday January 7, 2022! This contest is aimed for student in grades 4-7 in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge Region to raise awareness amongst them regarding water challenges and the importance of water in our daily lives.
