By Staff Communications and Public AffairsStudent Life 101 is a unique program on campus that gives incoming students and their parents a taste of university life before they start classes. There are eight sessions running throughout June, July and August, with a special session just for international students right before Orientation. Each session is a two-day, overnight experience where young people can meet upper-year students, spend a night in residence and attend a lecture. There is also a one-day orientation session for parents.
More information about the program can be found on the Student Life 101 website.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
