Optimizing student outcomes with better instructor supports

The Agile Development Team (ADT) was launched in fall 2021 as a two-year pilot. This project deploys online learning consultants, instructional digital media developers, a learning technologies analyst, and copy editor to assist faculty interested in adapting or developing online learning materials and courses. These supports can provide collectively up to eighty hours per project. This support leverages online-to-remote work advancement made over the pandemic and aims to create improved, more permanent, and durable solutions. In only five months of operation, service requests have doubled and instructors from every Faculty have engaged with the team.

Moving forward: As a result of the high demand for support from the ADT, the University has committed to extend the pilot project beyond its original two-year remit.
