Creating environments where all people feel included, and welcome, is integral to building a diverse and inclusive community. Ensuring that space, including washroom space, is accessible for diverse genders is an important element of this effort. Waterloo has mapped the availability of gender-neutral washrooms and begun the process of converting single-stall gendered washrooms to single-stall gender-neutral washrooms.
