American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) - Northern Alberta Design Awards

Award description: 

Six awards, three valued at up to $500 each and three valued at up to $250 each, are to be presented annually to outstanding fourth-year design project teams in the department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. Four Mechanical Engineering teams (two from each section) and two Mechatronics Engineering teams will be chosen; no application is required. The prize money will be divided equally among the winning team members.

Value description: 

Award funds are divided equally amongst team members:

  • three awards valued at up to $500 each
  • three awards valued at up to $250 each
Eligibility & selection criteria: 
  • selection based on fourth-year design project

Engineering→Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
Canadian citizen/permanent resident, International/study permit student
Selection process: 
Students considered automatically - no application.

Anticipated Aid for your Promissory Note

OSAP, award and scholarship amounts will be posted as Anticipated Aid on your Quest account each term. Spring 2022 full-time OSAP funding will be added as anticipated aid on Quest accounts and will continue to be updated throughout the Promissory Note period.
