Award description: 

An award, valued at $4,000, will be presented annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Three or Four of any program in the School of Accounting and Finance. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average) combined with active involvement in the Young Tax Professionals group – a co-curricular program where students participate in activities to gain a deeper understanding of career options in tax, develop technical and practical skills needed, and learn about current issues and specialty areas within the field. Interested students should submit an application by October 1 to the Faculty Lead of the Young Tax Professionals group. This fund is made possible by gift from University of Waterloo alumnus Brian Fisher (BMath ’72).
