A scholarship, valued at up to $2,000, will be awarded annually to a graduating undergraduate student in the Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum 80% cumulative average) combined with a commitment to undergraduate research or teaching assistantships. An application is not required. This fund has been made possible by family and friends of Carey Bissonnette, a dedicated colleague, lecturer, academic advisor and teaching fellow at the University of Waterloo where he devoted himself for over 24 years.
