An award, valued at up to $8,000 over 8 academic terms, will be awarded to a deserving full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year One of the Biomedical Engineering program. Selection to be based on academic excellence (minimum 75% admission average) and extracurricular achievements, with preference to students who have participated in competitive sports and/or leadership within the community. Interested students should submit an application by October 1. This fund is made possible through generous contributions from friends and family in memory of CJ Moore, a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering student who holds the distinction of being the first ever graduate of the University of Waterloo Biomedical Engineering program, having been awarded his degree posthumously in Fall of 2018.
