C.U.P.E. Local 793 Award

Award description: 

Several awards, valued at $500 or more, are available to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in any year of any degree program at the University of Waterloo and who are affiliated with C.U.P.E. Local 793. Award selection will be based on academic merit (minimum 80% admission average for new students, minimum 70% cumulative average for returning students) combined with contributions to the University or the community through extracurricular or volunteer activities. Financial need may also be considered. To be eligible for consideration, students must be a current C.U.P.E. Local 793 member, or be the child, spouse, or grandchild of a current C.U.P.E. Local 793 member. This award is made possible by an endowment fund established by C.U.P.E. Local 793 members. The annual application deadline is November 1.
