CWB Welding Foundation Award for Women

Award description: 

One award, valued at $5,000, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student who identifies as a woman enrolled in Year Four of the Mechanical Engineering program who is pursing the Welding and Joining Specialization. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum 70% cumulative average) and demonstrated intent to pursue a career in the materials joining and allied technologies services industry. Interested students should submit an application by October 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from the CWB Welding Foundation to help students who wish to pursue a career in welding.
