David & Christine Edwards Scholarship

Award description: 

A scholarship, valued at up to $2,000, is awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate student entering first year in the School of Pharmacy on the basis of academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities. This fund is made possible by a donation from David J. Edwards, Hallman Director, School of Pharmacy and Christine Edwards.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 
  • full-time undergraduate students entering Year One in the School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Science
  • restricted to Ontario residents (as defined by OSAP), with demonstrated financial need (based on UW full-time bursary program need assessment)
  • selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% average) and participation in extracurricular activities and/or volunteer activities
