David Shepherd Upper-Year Scholarship in Mathematics

Award description: 

Three scholarships, valued at $5,500 each, will be awarded annually to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year Two, Three, and/or Four in the Faculty of Mathematics. Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated extracurricular participation in volunteer activities, mentorship, sports, and/or public service. Interested students should submit an application by November 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Krysia Piorczynski in memory of her husband, David Shepherd, BMath ’75.

  • enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of any program in the Faculty of Math
  • academic performance (minimum 80% cumulative average)
  • extracurricular participation in volunteer activities, mentorship, sports, and/or public service
