Donald R. and Mary E. Snider Literary Award for Excellence in Non-Fiction Writing

Award description: 

An award, valued at up to $700, will be presented annually to an undergraduate student enrolled in full-time studies in any program at the University of Waterloo and registered in a course in the Department of English Language and Literature. Selection will be made on the basis of excellence in non-fiction writing - either a rhetorical research essay on a speech or a piece of life writing. No application is required. Faculty in the Department of English Language and Literature will submit student work in the Winter term for adjudication. This fund is made possible by a donation from James Snider in memory and honour of his parents, Donald R. and Mary E. Snider.
