Equitable Life Scholarship in Actuarial Science

Award description: 

A scholarship, valued at $2,500, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Three or Four of the Actuarial Science program in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science in the Faculty of Mathematics. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average) combined with a demonstrated interest in the community, based on participation in extracurricular and/or volunteer activities. Interested students should submit an application by June 15. This fund is made possible by a donation from Equitable Life Insurance Company of Canada to support the next generation of actuaries.
