A scholarship, valued at $2,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three or Four of any program in the Faculty of Science. Selection is based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average), combined with demonstrated impact to African, Caribbean, or Black culture and community through extracurricular or volunteer activities on campus and/or in other communities. Preference will be given to candidates who are involved in intramural or varsity activities. Interested students should submit an online application by October 15. This fund is made possible by a donation from Dr. Quaison Dey, BSc ’91, in honour of his parents Gaskin and Claudine Dey.
