An award, valued at up to $3,000, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of an Arts and Business program in the Faculty of Arts. Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% cumulative average) and a demonstrated interest and/or active participation in entrepreneurial activities (e.g., founding/co-founding a venture, contributing to a startup, entrepreneurship clubs, etc.). Preference will be given to students who show leadership, resilience, or initiative aligned with a family business. Interested students should submit an application by February 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from Betty Ann Malleck in honour of her late husband, and in recognition of his commitment to teaching and nurturing student’s interest in entrepreneurship.
