Award description:
An award, valued at $3,000, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Four of any program in the Faculty of Engineering (including the School of Architecture) and enrolled in Fire Safety Engineering course (ME 567). Selection is based on academic excellence (minimum 75% cumulative average) combined with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the area of Fire Safety Engineering, which may include prior work and/or volunteer experiences in the industry. Interested students should submit an application by February 1. This fund is made possible by a donation from GHL Consultants Ltd. to support students and promote growth in the fire safety industry.
