Helen L. Cross Memorial Scholarship in Fine Arts

A scholarship has been established by Ted Cross to honour the memory of his late wife, Helen L. Cross. Scholarships are made to full-time undergraduate students who identify as women entering second-year Arts and majoring in Fine Arts. Preference will be given to students who have a home address in Northern Ontario (defined as north of North Bay). Selection will be made by faculty in the Fine Arts Department (no application necessary). Helen was a long-time friend and supporter of the University with a natural love for the visual arts. She found much beauty and peace in her visits to many of the world's great art galleries.
